Beat the Letter is a free party game made by one person. These terms are short because the game is small: there is nothing to buy, nothing to subscribe to, and nothing being sold.
Play it, share the link, invite whoever you like. In return, a few things we ask you not to do:
You can play without one. If you make one, it exists to keep your score, and you can delete it yourself at any time from your account — immediately, without asking anyone. What that removes is described in the privacy page.
We may remove an account that is being used to harass people or to game the leaderboard. In practice this has never happened and we would rather it stayed that way.
The game does not host, stream or sell any music. It searches a public catalogue to check a song exists, shows you a thirty-second preview provided by that catalogue, and can build a Spotify playlist of what your table picked. All of the music belongs to the people who made it, and it is played through their services, not ours.
A service with guarantees. It is offered as it is: it might be down, a round might be lost, a playlist link stops working after about two days, and a song you are certain exists might not be in the catalogue.
None of that is worth anyone's money or a lawsuit, so to be plain: the game comes with no warranty, and whoever made it is not liable for what happens while you play it. If something is broken, telling us is far more useful than anything else you could do about it.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. If a change is significant, the game will say so rather than relying on you to check.
